Message	quick spool with ..... , I'd say no to manifolds (heck, take HighPsi's for free, they've got to be slightly better), and buy 4-bolt turbos, like Sport 500's. You can get 50+ more hp, with no more lag than stock (you said quick spool). The 4 bolt turbos mean you can keep you existing downpipes. But to answer your question, I read that the manifolds help even stock turbos, so there is no turbo size that means "buy manifolds now". Another thought: the 3" expansion downpipes might be a better investment than manifolds, since money is short. I don't know, but it's worth checking out.
